Meet our Pug of the Month: Pippi
Pippi's owner writes:
My Hello Everyone,
When I saw this I thought I had to enter my puppy Pippi immediatly!
Pippi is now 7 months and just the best thing that could have
happened to our family!
I was diagnosed 17 months ago with Cervical Cancer and Endometreosis.
My husband and I were told we would never be able to have
anymore children. That devistated us! That's when we decided
to get a puppy. This would be our first puppy ever! We speant
MANY months reading all about different breeds until deciding
on the ever so cute Pug. We loved how they are the "clown
dog" of the breeds.
We then took a long time trying to decide on the best puppy
for us! We found this wonderful woman who breeds Pugs about
3 hours from us. We talked to her and she said she was going
to have a litter in 2 months! So, we waited and got that wonderful
call from her! Our baby Pippi was born! We met up with Pippi
and fell in love with her. We had pick of litter and chose
her because: She was the runt, she was so funny, and her front
left paw is completely white. As we waited for her to get
big enough to come to her forever home, we would e-mail back
and forth everyday. I would get pictures all the time. It
was great! When we picked her up the woman told us that 5
other people had came over and picked out their puppy and
each one of them wanted Pippi. I knew she was a winner from
the start!
Pippi had personally helped me through more than one could
imagine! Whenever I was really sick because of a surgery she
would do the cutest things to make me smile. If I was having
a bad day all around there she would be doing something funny
to get that laugh out of me. To me, she is a service dog.
Her only job in life is to love me, and make me laugh, and
she does that every second of everyday!
She is so amazing, and I would be lost without her. Pippi
is not just a dog, she is part of our family. She is a very
important part of our family!
Also, the cutest thing she does?
We take her everywhere we go. She rides in the backseat behind
the driver. Well, she will stand up on the car door arm rest
and put her paws way up and try to "catch" the cars
as they go by! The best partis that the bigger the vehicle
the more she gets into it!

We here at PugCenter.com
would like to thank all Pug owners, who have submitted their
amazing Pugs for this honor. Even though your Pug did not
make it to the throne this month, does not mean he or she
is out of the race for good. We keep all Pugmate entries up
to one year, so your Pug might still have a chance...
